Bosnia Sign with adidas

Bosnia-Herzegovina have reportedly signed with adidas as their apparel sponsor and will be wearing the 3-stripes at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil this summer.  The side is currently closing out their long-term deal with Italian company Legea.

The Dragons are scheduled to debut their new jerseys, which have yet to be released, when they face another adidas team, Mexico, in Chicago on June 3rd.  The final match in the Legea jersey will be a few days earlier against Ivory Coast in St Louis.

Bosnia will be making their first World Cup appearance as an independent nation.  The eastern European nation finished ahead of Greece on goal differential to earn the automatic qualification by winning UEFA Group G.

The team is led up front by Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko.  Many U.S. fans are familiar with the team as St Louis raised Vedad Ibisevic plays for the nation of his birth.

The Dragons will be making their first appearance at a World Cup when they face Argentina in their opener on June 15.  In addition to Argentina, they are placed in Group F with Nigeria and Iran.
