Seemingly destined for relegation back to the Football League Championship halfway through last season, Crystal Palace were guided to an eleventh place Premier League finish by now departed manager Tony Pulis last season.
The Eagles returned to action last Saturday in a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates thanks to Aaron Ramsey’s stoppage time match winner.
During Saturday’s game, Crystal Palace gave a competitive debut to their yellow 2014/15 away kit. The Y-necked, modern shirt is accompanied by an equally contemporary-looking home kit in Palace’s famous red and blue vertical stripes.
The kits are provided by Italian sportswear firm Macron who the club signed a four-year deal with in late July. The team had previously been with little known UK firm Avec.
Palace will give their 14-15 home kit a Premier League debut in Saturday’s London derby against West Ham United at the Selhurst Park.
