Beats by Dre were not a headliner at the World Cup in Brazil but they stole the show.  And the high-end headphone manufacturer got the last note in by presenting a set of 24 (1 for each player on the roster as well as a pair for head coach Joachim Low) Gold Beats Pro headphones to the German national team.

The 24-carat gold-plated headphones are the ideal gift for the squad and perfectly fit in to the brands Brazil marketing efforts.

Naomi Campbell was the star of the brand’s video ‘Golden’ showing off the headphones.

“Working on the ‘Golden’ project with Beats by Dr. Dre was so much fun. The shoot was loud and energetic…I even got to practice my football skills! The ‘Golden’ project is the perfect way to celebrate the German victory and I’m glad to be a part of this campaign.”

‘The Game Before the Game’ was marketing genius with the brand focusing on the pre-game rituals of top players and every day fans.
