Roma-based giants SS Lazio unveiled their Macron 2014/15 home kit on Monday with current players Lucas Biglia and Keita Baldé Diao showing off the new first choice strip of I Biancocelesti (The White and Sky Blues).
The new SS Lazio home jersey is Macron Sports designers’ modern interpretation of the home shirt worn by the team when they won their first Italian Serie A title (or Scudetto) during the 1973/74 season.
The shirt has a subtle polo collar in white with the colors of the Italy national flag beneath it. A large v-shaped inserts punctuates the neck opening area of the collar. This is feature of the kit that is most inspired by the Lazio 73/74 jersey.
The sleeve cuffs use both Lazio’s classic sky blue and white while the text “S.S. Lazio 1900” is embroidered on the outside upper back of area of the kit. Finally, Lazio’s famous club crest is duplicated via a heat stamp to the lower left of the sewn on badge.
Also Serie A winners in 200 and Coppa Italia champions in 2012/13, SS Lazio are currently in tenth place in the Serie A table with one match left to play.
