Valencia Unveil 2014/15 Home & Away Jerseys

After signing a 5-year apparel sponsorship deal that will run the club’s centenary celebration in 2019, Valencia and adidas unveiled the 2014/15 home and away jerseys for the upcoming La Liga campaign. The home jersey stays true to tradition and the away brings orange back.
The home jersey is the classic all-white look with an orange-and-black v-neck collar. The black 3-stripes run from the collar to a mid-sleeve orange-and-black horizontal detail. The mid-sleeve detail creates the sleeve sponsorship space for the La Liga badge on the right sleeve and a Gloval Respect logo on the left sleeve above the orange-and-black cuff.
Gloval Respect is the motto for Valencia’s Fair Play initiative. The goal is to create a greater level of respect in the game through high values and good behavior. The badge is a great design with the ‘O’ in Gloval replaced with the Valencia badge and the ‘VAL’ in orange.
Perhaps the most noticeable feature of the jersey is what is missing. The jersey currently does not have a front-of-the-jersey sponsor as the team continues to finalize a deal. The Gol TV sponsor logo is on the back of the jersey.
‘Orange is Back’ is the slogan that announced the release of the away jersey. And to no big surprise the jersey is orange. The orange is brighter than in the past and paired with an equally loud royal blue for the v-neck collar, 3-stripes on the sleeves and cuffs.
The team badge is also represented in the orange and blue colors.
The color will hopefully bring good luck to the side. The last 2-times Valencia won the La Liga in 2001/02 and 2003/04 the title was clinched in the away jersey. The jersey will make its on-field debut against AS Monaco in the Emirates Cup in London on Saturday, August 2.
What do you think of Valencia’s new looks? Which do you think looks better?
